Please Join Our Mission of “Hope”
Without our adult and youth volunteers, Haven of Hope for Kids would not be possible.
Some volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups are:
- Purchase a pizza for the family for their first dinner at Haven of Hope (see form)
- Sign up to host a BBQ with your church, your family or a group of friends. BBQs are held every Saturday throughout the summer for each of our families.
- Have children and want to bring them over to play in the yard or do a craft with the family
- Bring your scout troop over to play, make crafts, and visit
Both individuals and families can volunteer. This is a wonderful opportunity for children of different backgrounds to get to know each other and to have fun together fishing, going to Land of Make Believe, or just running around on the lawn behind the cottage.
Volunteers are both the face and the heart of Haven of Hope for Kids, and it is because of them that families leave for home feeling that they have new friends and are less alone than they thought.
