John, an illustrator/art director by trade, has served on the Haven of Hope board for the past four years. He is grateful to apply his graphic art skills as he acts as the resident artist on the board - designing posters, brochures, and banners for the HOH program. John, a resident of Hope, NJ, recognizes the importance the program plays for its participants and their families.

“Some of my best memories are family vacations with my parents and later with my wife and children. If we can be a part of making happy memories for these families, then we’ve done something really worthwhile”.

Gladys Bellott
Board Member and Fundraiser for Haven of Hope since its inception 13 years ago.I do several trips to different places a week. All the net proceeds help to support our programming. I love working for the Haven of Hope with the children and their family; it is so heartwarming and rewarding to see the family so happy. For some this may be there first vacation because they need to give special care to their sick child.

I love living in Hope and am glad to share the joys of country living with our guests. It is gratifying to know that many of them would love to live here, too.
Sue Stangeland

Board Member for the last 5 years
I am the owner of a horse farm in Pennsylvania where some of the families come to visit and ride our horse Diego. He is the favorite in the barn. I have been a member of St. Luke/St. Mary for the last 18 years and I love to help people. I love to see the visiting families come to Haven of Hope and have a fun, relaxing visit with us and leave refreshed with great memories!
